Celebrating 38th Vietnamese Teacher’s day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2020), on 17th November 2020, the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) organized seminar on “Quality assessment of distance learning programs: Problems and solutions".
Participants of the seminar were Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Quoc Khanh - Deputy Director of Vietnam Education Quality Management Agency, Ministry of Education and Training; Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - President of VNU’s Quality Assurance Council, Former President of VNU; Board of Management and Education Quality Accreditation Council of VNU-CEA; education managers, accreditors, experts and staffs in the field of education quality assurance and accreditation.

The seminar on "Quality assessment of distance learning programs: Problems and solutions" was organized with the desire to create a forum for educational experts and accreditors to exchange knowledge, discuss and share good pratices, to propose solutions for distance education, distance training programs as well as adapt to the challenges of education quality assurance and accreditation for distance learning programs, programs that incorporate distance training modes. Participants were presented standards for assessing the quality of distance learning programs according to the Circular no. 39/2020/TT-BGDĐT dated 09/10/2020 of MOET; experiences of AUN-QA in online assessing distance learning programs.

This seminar is also an opportunity for VNU-CEA to thank teachers and experts who have always accompanied and supported us, and once again affirmed our position, prestige and pioneering of VNU-CEA in the field of education quality assurance and accreditation.
